Austrian Development Cooperation Scholarships for ADC’s and Developing Countries 2023-2024: (Deadline 31 March 2023)

The Austrian Development Cooperation Scholarships 2023/2024 have a new application period open. The Austrian Development Cooperation offers financing opportunities each year to students from developing nations who want to study in Austria to help with tuition and living costs.

The Austrian Development Cooperation offers two types of scholarships:

  • Scholarship for ADC’s priority countries
  • Scholarship for other developing countries

About Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC)

(ADC), whose operational division is the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), is a component of Austria’s foreign policy. ADC seeks to eradicate poverty, protect the environment, and advance human security and peace in its partner nations. The ADC’s long-term projects and programmes encourage self-help to achieve sustainable development. The ADC’s ultimate objective is to enhance living circumstances for people living in emerging and developing economies in a sustainable way.

Financial Benefits:

Austrian Government is Offering Fully Funded Scholarships and Partially Funded Scholarship to all International Students. Detail is given below:

Financial Support for Scholarship of ADC countries:

  • Tuition fee
  • Accommodation
  • €205 Monthly Stipend
  • Flight tickets
  • Health insurance
  • Food from Monday – Sunday
  • Excursions (except field trip to ITB Berlin)

Financial Support for Scholarships for Developing Countries:

  • Tuition fee
  • €205,- pocket money per month
  • Health insurance
  • Food from Monday – Friday
  • Excursions (except ITB Berlin)

Accommodation, Flight Tickets, and Visa is not included for Developing Countries students.

Types of Scholarships

Under Austrian Development Scholarship, there are two types of awards. Applicants from all over the world who have completed a specified course: The details of the course are listed below.

  • Scholarship for ADC’s priority countries
  • Scholarship for other developing countries

Eligibility Criteria

Students who meet the following conditions are eligible for Austrian Development Scholarships:

  • Must be from the above-mentioned ADC/Developing Countries.
  • The age range should be between 18 and 35 years old.

Application:

Please be aware that being offered a scholarship is not automatic and very competitive. Follow the steps below to apply;

  • Get information about ITH from an Austrian consulate or embassy
  • Download ITH application form. Austrian embassies and consulates have this form as well.
  • Application Process – all applications should be sent directly to the Institute via post.
    Which means the Institute has to receive the application latest by March 22.
  • Confirmation – You would be informed about the result of your application by the end of April. If you were awarded a scholarship you will receive a letter of acceptance.
