Academic Scholarship For International Students

Athletic Scholarship
- Students who continue their studies at Abu Dhabi University receive a 25% tuition price waiver each academic year.
Alumni Scholarship
- Alumni of Abu Dhabi University are eligible for a 20% tuition fee waiver when pursuing postgraduate graduate courses at any of the university’s branches.
Merit-Based Graduate Scholarship
- A 25% tuition fee waiver is available to candidates who pursue postgraduate courses at Abu Dhabi University and have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.5 (or equivalent).
Eligibility Criteria:
The following requirements must be met in order to qualify for the Abu Dhabi University Scholarships for Foreign Students:
- Both UAE residents and all international students are eligible.
- High school diploma required for bachelor’s degree applications.
- To apply for a master’s degree, you must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- To apply for a doctoral degree, you must hold a master’s degree and have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Candidates need to have at least two years of full-time experience (for PhD Only)

Following are the documents required before applying for Abu Dhabi University,
- A full online application
- Authenticated copy of a general secondary or high school diploma (or its equivalent)
- original letter of equivalency from the UAE Ministry of Education (contact the admission office for details)
- photo the size of a passport with a white backdrop
- a replica of a current passport (and residence visa if resident in the UAE)
- Emirates ID Card Copies (if resident in the UAE)
- IELTS Academic (5.0), IBT TOEFL (61), or ITP 500 official score reports (taken at ADUKG or AmidEast Institute only)
- Course syllabi and official transcripts from other colleges for credit transfer
- For applicants who have taken 11 years of schooling, IGCSE or GCSE subjects, proof of this is necessary.
